Welcome event – Tuesday, 31 August 2010 at 18.30
The official opening will be held at Cappella Farnese, the ceremonial chapel located in Palazzo d’Accursio (City Hall) in Piazza Maggiore 6, Bologna main square. The official opening will be followed by an industrial speech, held by an engineer of Magneti Marelli, focused on nonlinear control in the automotive field. The welcome event will continue with a cocktail, with drinks and snacks for pleasure and entertainment of attendees, served in a cafè in front of the ancient monumental Basilica of Saint Petronio in Piazza Maggiore, the lively “crossroad” of the city. The welcome event is included in the full registration fee only. Please come at 18:00 at the registration desk to get registered.

Concert for Choir and Organ - Wednesday, 1 September 2010 at 20:15
The concert will be offered to all Nolcos 2010 attendees and accompanying persons and it is going to take place in Santa Maria dei Servi, an ancient Basilica founded in 1346 and situated in Strada Maggiore 43. Inside the church you can admire the magnificent organ built by Tamburini’s company, one of the most famous Italian families of organ makers.

Gala Dinner - Thursday, 2 September 2010 - meeting point at 19:10
The Gala Dinner will take place at Ca’ la Ghironda, a modern museum area located in Zola Predosa, 10 km away from Bologna, at 20:00. Ca’ la Ghironda is surrounded by a great park hosting a Modern and Contemporary pictures and sculptures collection. Transportation to the gala dinner venue will be organized by bus with start from Via Indipendenza, 8 (in front of the Grand Hotel Baglioni) at 19:10. Detailed instructions will be provided on site. The Gala Dinner is included in the full registration fee only. Tickets to the Gala Dinner can be purchased at the registration desk during the Symposium.

Farewell Party - Friday, 3 September 2010 at 17:00
At the end of the sessions a Farewell party will take place to say goodbye to friends and colleagues. It will be held at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bologna. The farewell party is included in the full registration fee only.
